It was a typical day in Hazzard County; Bo and Luke Duke were being chased by Sherrif Rosco Coltrane for god knows what. The chase finally ended when the boys managed to make a turn Rosco couldn’t see and, as fate would have it, his sherrif’s car went nose-first into the pond in front of him.

Bo and Luke laughed aloud and, not even five minutes later, pulled into the driveway of the Duke family farm. Daisy Duke was out hanging clothes on the line to dry and Uncle Jessie was doing a little work on the house.

“Heya, fellas!” Daisy said cheerfully as her cousins climbed out of their car, the infamous General Lee.
“Hey Daisy,” Bo replied as they came over to her.
“What’s goin’ on?” Luke asked her.
“Well, an old friend of mine is comin’ to stay for a few days,” Daisy replied.
“Really? This old friend happen to be anyone we know?” Bo asked.
“I doubt it – her name’s Billie Jo Dooley,” Daisy replied, “she’s a rodeo girl.”
“Oh, her daddy some big rodeo star?” Bo asked increduously.
“No, she’s in the rodeo,” Daisy answered.
“A GIRL rodeo rider? What WILL they think of next?” Luke quipped.
“She is, and I won’t have you fellas actin’ like this when she comes,” Daisy picked up her laundry basket and stomped away.
Uncle Jessie came ambling over in his usual way and said, “You boys ought ‘not tease Daisy like that; and… while her friend is here… I’d better not hear of ANY trouble, you hear?”
“Yessir,” Bo and Luke nodded.

Jose and Jesse got out of the General Lee. They were about to go into the Boar’s Nest when Bo stopped them. “Hey, it’s time to get married. Why are you holding us back?” Jose asked.

“Well after all the bad luck y’all have been having, I don’t think you need anymore by seeing your wives in their wedding dresses,” Bo answered.

“Oh come on, do you really believe in stuff like that?”

“Not usually but today I’ll make an exception.”

“Well check out the scene, Bo.” Bo nodded. He saw both girls at the front in their wedding dresses. Luke was up there singing with Maria. They were doing a pretty good job at it too. The preacher was dancing with the girls. Bo went back out.

“The girls are up there.” Jesse snapped his fingers. “What? You have got a plan?” Jesse nodded.

“Go and get Mom and Maria,” Jesse commanded.

“Huh?”

The boys stood there all tied up looking at the preacher who just walked out of the car. Five men came out with their guns. As Milo saw the preacher, he glared at him funny. “Who’dis?” Milo asked.

“Preacher Joe was a little bit tied up so here I am. He didn’t want to ruin your daughters’ wedding. I am Pastor Dave,” The preacher said. The man stuck out his hand and shook Milo’s.

“Shall we begin?”

“Oh yes.”

“Dearly beloved, we’s gathered here to join…uh…what’s your name honey?” The pastor pointed to the blonde Beaudry.

“Tamara,” Tamara replied.

“What’s her name?” The pastor pointed over to the brown haired Beaudry.

“Peggy.”

“Join Peggy and Tamara in matrimony.” The two girls laughed.

At the Boar’s Nest, there were two gals in wedding dresses waiting for their grooms to show up. Bo was pacing back and forth. Nancy walked over to his and put a hand on his shoulder. Bo pulled it off. He looked into his wife’s eyes. “Something’s wrong, I can feel it,” Bo told Nancy.

“Why would they be late for their own wedding…especially this late? They’re not going to show up are they?” Nancy asked.

“You know, Jess wouldn’t miss this day for anything in the world.”

“I know, that’s what’s bugging me. My son wants to get married.”

“Yeah, he does. He’s loved Laurel forever and now wants to show everyone just how much.” Bo snapped his fingers. “Look, you and the girls keep the crowd busy. Get Laurel and Paige to do some of their dances that they love to do so much. I’m taking Essy, Jo and Lilly-Rose. We’re goanna look for the boys.”

“Alright, we’ll work on it. What do you think is going on, Bo?”

“I don’t know but I’m goanna find out.”

Over in Tennessee, the boys had just woken up. They were both tied to chairs. Peggy and Tamara went to their sides almost immediately. Jose and Jesse were not impressed. They wanted to be at their wedding.

“Hurry up you goof, we’re going to be late for our own wedding,” Jesse called upstairs. Jose ran out with one shoe on his foot, trying to put the other one on. Jesse shook his head. “Quit turning into me!”

“Yeah, yeah—how did you get dressed so fast?” Jose questioned. Jesse smiled.

“It’s all in the hand eye coordination. That and I didn’t get changed into my PJ’s.”

“Alright, it is written all over my face! I am nervous.”

“Well that much I can see. Why you’re nervous I don’t know.”

“Well, I’m getting married and leaving Hazzard…in that order.” Jesse shook his head. “I don’t why you’re not nervous. You’re goanna run a farm by yourself.”

“Hello, I have a wife.”

“Not yet you don’t. What makes you think she’ll be out there plowing with you?”

“She doesn’t have to.”

“I see.”

“Laurel isn’t afraid of a little hard work though.”
